run by us – Hilu and Alex – with joy and commitment and visited by many wonderful guests.
We have lovingly renovated this charming little house inside and out,
everything freshly prettied up ☀️ and now we always find possibilities for embellishment.

B&B and guest house on the island of Öland – the sun room of southern Sweden
Our holiday home
is 10 km northeast of Köpingsvik, one of Öland’s most famous bathing beaches, 15 km from Borgholm with its hiking trails to Soliden Castle and Storgatan for shopping. Our Valsnäsgarden is located on the outskirts of Löt, an original Bullerbü-style village in the direction of Valsnäs. The small harbor and natural beach are 2.8 km away. The nearest large natural beach with a fish restaurant open all year round can be reached in 6 km. The west coast of Öland with the famous west coast route can be reached in 9.5 km. The World Heritage Site is the southern Alvaret with the world-renowned bird watching station. In the north on Sweden’s sunniest island – Öland, you will find Trollskogen, the magic forest. In between there are 136 km of different vegetation, which are known for the originality of plants and their orchid blossoms.
Valsnäs 2018
Our Valsnäsgarden is located in the rural area of the island next to a beautiful natural meadow. The Valsnäsgatan (road) leads past some houses and farms to the small natural beach. There are several of them on this eastern side of the island, which are much quieter and more tranquil than the touristic Westside. But also this has of course its wonderful beaches and bathing places in the Baltic Sea.

Overnight B&B with Frukost per person/ night 450 SEK July and August – without Frukost 390 SEK
out of season 400 SEK with Frukost – without Frukost 320 SEK
Cash or Swish possible
Our rooms are equipped with towels and bed linen
Prices Guest House
Guest house with terrace for max. 4 adults and 2 children: 6500 SEK/week in July and August
outside the summer holidays: 6000 SEK / week
When making a reservation we would like 3000 SEK prepayment by account giro or Swish, balance payment at check-in.
In case of cancellation we charge a fee of 500 SEK, short-term cancellations with less than 1 week before the booking date the cancellation fee is 1000 SEK
Our Stuga is fully equipped
Towel set per week/person 100 SEK
Bike per day 60 SEK / week 360 SEK
Final cleaning can be done by us, 1000 SEK is obligatory
if you do your own cleaning, please restore the same condition as when you checked in, thank you! Equipment is provided.
It is a non-smoking guest house, pets only on request, Stuga is suitable for allergy sufferers, without Wi-Fi
Please do not charge e-cars at the sockets!!!
Valsnäsgarden is a very old Swedish house, originally built in the 19th century. In the past decades a lot has been reconstructed and expanded. The exterior façade is painted in Stockholm white with a grey frame.
In our garden there are some old fruit trees under which you can relax. Berry perennials and apple trees invite you to snack. The blue Nordic cloudy sky and the warming sun – what more could you need?
